We are so grateful for the outpouring of support we received last year. The offers to donate and volunteer have been amazing. We are a small project right now and do not have need for all the offered donations. If you have funds and would like to donate we recommend checking out some of the groups below. Founded by Phyllis Webstad the Orange Shirt Society honours the experiences of residential school survivors. It also raises awareness for the intergenerational trauma which stems from these schools.
The Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS) provides support to residential school survivors. The support includes health, cultural, and counselling services.
The Legacy of Hope Foundation's mission is education surrounding the impacts of residential school. They do this through consultation with survivors and educational programs.
